At Verdant Stitch Studio, we believe that making something with your hands is one of the most powerful forms of learning. Every stitch, every seam, every dye bath is an act of creative courage, and we're here to guide young makers through every step.
From beginner sewists to budding fashion designers, from natural dyeing to fiber arts, our programs meet students where they are and grow with them. Small classes, patient instructors, and a warm community make Verdant Stitch a place kids genuinely love to be.
Our bilingual studio in West Vancouver is a space where children and teens discover their creative voice through sewing, fashion design, and textile arts. We combine hands-on skill-building with imaginative exploration, so every student leaves with something they made and a confidence they carry with them.
From mood boards to finished garments, young designers learn to sketch, cut, and sew their own original creations.

Natural Dyeing & Sustainable Making
Discover the ancient art of plant-based dyeing. Students learn to extract colour from flowers, leaves, and roots to create one-of-a-kind naturally dyed textiles. A beautiful introduction to sustainable fashion and the living world of colour.

Ages 8–16
Natural Fabric Story Camp

A week-long immersive summer camp where children create their own textile story. From raw fibre to finished piece. Weaving, dyeing, sewing, and storytelling come together in this magical summer experience.

Creative Maker Workshops
Drop-in and series workshops for curious makers of all skill levels. Each workshop focuses on a single technique or project, from embroidery samplers to upcycled denim bags. Perfect for trying something new.

Birthday Parties & Special Events
Celebrate with a creativity! Our studio birthday parties give every guest a hands-on making experience they'll remember. Choose from sewing, tie-dye, or textile art themes — we handle everything. Guests create personalized projects and take home their own handmade creations. Available for small groups and customized themes.
